DutchSpirit closes deal with Schoeller

In june 2014 the collaboration between the Swiss Schoeller and the Dutch DutchSpirit was sealed. Schoeller, leader in high-tech fabrics is the new producer and supplier for DutchSpirit’s sustainable fabric Inspire.

First circular work wear since 2011

Back in 2010 DutchSpirit developed the first sustainable, recyclable fabric Returnity, in collaboration with Backhausen from Austria, specialist in furniture fabrics. In 2011 DutchSpirit launched the first circular clothing line where clothes were produced, worn and collected to recycle to create new fabrics again. Sustainable clothes in a closed loop.

Schoeller

In this last year DutchSpirit has been looking for a specialist in clothing fabrics. Looking for fabrics that are more affordable, but most of all, looking for a specialist that is innovative in fabrics for clothes. Schoeller turned out to be the best in their field. They produce many advanced fabrics, suitable for athletes, policemen, army, etc. And all of this with the BlueSign mark! Even though Schoeller has so much experience, they had never been asked the question DutchSpirit asked them: Can we create a fabric that is 100% recyclable? The answer is yes! This new fabric, created by DutchSpirit and Schoeller, is made of high quality polyester yarns but it feels like cotton. Schoeller has so much more to offer. They develop many new technologies, based on findings men is taught by nature, the science of biomimicry.

Inspire with all its options

Inspire is the perfect sustainable fabric, but combined with several different special coatings, it’s more innovative than any other fabric. What about the 3XDRY system, which absorbs and evaporates perspiration, but at the same time is waterproof from the outside. Or the anti-bacterial coating, which is perfect for people working in health care. Or ColdBlack, the coating that causes dark fabrics to feel cool on your skin when working outside in the sun. Perfect for construction employees.

Inspire is available in any colour and in several versions; from a light version for inside use (health care, office) to a heavy version for outside use (construction).
